His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Saturday phoned Qatar's Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani to congratulate him on Eid Al-Adha. During the phone call, His Highness the Amir wished the two sisterly countries and both Arab and Muslim nations, happy returns of this dear occasion, and wished Qatar's Father Amir Sheikh Hamad everlasting wellbeing. In a cable, His Highness the Crown Prince prayed to Almighty Allah to bestow utmost wellbeing upon His Highness the Amir, as well as wishing Kuwait's citizens and residents happy Eid. His Highness also prayed to the Almighty to protect Kuwait and its people from all evils and to grant them security and safety under the wise leadership of His Highness the Amir. His Highness the Crown Prince also wished both Arab and Muslim worlds a blessed Eid Adha. His Highness the Amir, in a reply cable, thanked His Highness the Crown Prince on such warm sentiments.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent on Wednesday a cable of condolences to the families of the victims of the a conflagration in an apartment building fire in Mangaf, which resulted in the death and injury of dozens. His Highness expressed his sincere sorrow and deep sympathy to the families of the victims, and a fast recovery to the injured. His Highness directed officials to follow up to the causes of the fire outbreak and hold whomever responsible accountable.
