Kuwait Amir receives congratulations from Singaporean Pres. on power assumption
His highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received on Sunday a cable of congratulations from President of Singapore Tharman Shanmugaratnam on assumption of power. In the cable, the Singaporean president wished His Highness the Amir success and good health, and for Kuwait progress and prosperity. His Highness the Amir sent a reply cable to the president, expressing his utmost appreciation for the heartfelt sentiment, and wishing him long-lasting health and wellbeing.
