  Kuwait Amir mourns late Pope Francis

  His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah mourned on Monday in a cable sent to Cardinal of the Catholic Church Giovanni Battista Re, the demise of Pope Francis at the age of 88 years old.
  In his cable, His Highness the Amir expressed his sorrow and praised the Pope's great contributions, including the Pope's courageous stances, which supported peace and coexistence, and became a model of religious tolerance and bringing people together, and forgiveness throughout his career.

  Kuwait Amir receives Commerce Minister, newly appointed Capital Markets Board

  His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, received the Minister of Commerce and Industry Khalifa Al-Ajeel Al-Askar accompanied with the newly appointed Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Capital Markets Authority, Imad Tifoni.

  Kuwait Amir congratulates newly elected Gabon Pres.

  His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent on Monday a cable of congratulations to the President of Gabon Brice Oligui Nguema, on winning the 2025 presidential election.
  In the cable, His Highness praised the bilateral relation between both countries, wishing President Nguema good health, further success and prosperity for his country and people.

  Kuwait Amir receives FM, newly appointed Ambassadors

  His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber received, Monday, Foreign Minister Abdullah Al-Yahya at Bayan Palace along with the five newly appointed ambassadors who took their constitutional oaths before His Highness the Amir.
  The envoys included Ambassador Bosnia and Herzegovina Saleh Al-Bannai, Ambassador to Indonesia Khaled Al-Yassin, Ambassador to Sweden Mohammad Hayati, Ambassador to Armenia Mohammad Al-Arefan and Ambassador to the Philippines Meshari Al-Nibari.
  Senior state officials were present during the reception.

  Kuwait Amir, Egyptian Pres. chair official rounds of talks between two countries

  His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and President of Egypt Abdulfattah Al-Sisi chaired on Tuesday the official rounds of talks between the two countries.
  This came in the presence of His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Acting Prime Minister Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah, and senior state officials from both countries.
  In a statement, Minister of the Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah said that the talks focused on the strong ties linking the two countries and ways to develop them in various fields.
  Issues of mutual interest, Arab cooperation and unity, in addition to the latest regional and international developments were discussed by the two sides, said the minister, adding that the dire situation in the Gaza Strip and efforts to bring upon a ceasefire and enabling the entry of humanitarian aid were also focused upon.
  He stressed that supporting the Palestinian dream of establishing an independent state as well as efforts of reconstruction Gaza was also on the table of discussions.
  The meeting was highlighted by a positive atmosphere, which reflected the strong relations between the two countries, he affirmed.

  Egyptian President arrives in Kuwait on state visit

  Egyptian President Abdelfattah Al-Sisi arrived in Kuwait Monday on a state visit.
  His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, along with His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, received the Egyptian President and his accompanying delegation at the Amiri Airport. Acting Prime Minister Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah, Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, Deputy Premier and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Shireedah Al-Mousherji and Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Al-Yahya were also among the audience. Minister of Defense and Acting Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah is heading the Mission of Honor accompanying the distinguished guest.
  Upon arrival, the national anthems of both countries were played. His Highness the Amir greeted the Egyptian delegation before artillery fired a 21-gun salute for President Al-Sisi.
