  Kuwait Amir returns home after official visit to France

  His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and his accompanying official delegation arrived home after an official visit to France.
  Upon arrival, His Highness the Amir was received by His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Sabah, Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al-Sabah.
  His Highness the Amir's delegation included Minister of Defense Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Al-Yahya, and Director-General of the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) Sheikh Dr. Meshal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, along with a number of senior state officials.

  Kuwait Amir sends cable to French Pres. after official visit

  His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent on Monday evening a cable to French President Emmanuel Macron, voicing thanks and gratitude to him for the amicable reception and warm welcome that reflected the depth of close historic relations that span over 60 years, see steady and continued successes and are based on mutual trust and respect.
  His Highness the Amir also expressed great appreciation to the French president for the friendly and positive atmosphere of meetings and talks held during the visit, creating an opportunity for consultation and exchange of views and visions about various issues of mutual interest.
  In the cable, His Highness the Amir voiced confidence that the successful visit to Paris would contribute to promoting strategic partnerships, developing aspects of cooperation and broadening its scope to cover all domains and fields, thus fulfilling both friendly peoples' aspirations of a brighter and more prosperous future.
  His Highness the Amir, further, invited the French president to visit the State of Kuwait at a time he sees appropriate, wishing him wellbeing and France and its friendly people further goodness and prosperity.

  Kuwait Amir leaves France following official visit

  His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and his accompanying official delegation left France on Monday afternoon following an official visit to the friendly European country.
  His Highness the Amir was seen off at the airport by Minister of Health Dr. Ahmad Al-Awadhi, Kuwait's Ambassador to France Abdullah Al-Shaheen, French Ambassador in Kuwait Olivier Gauvin, head of security and safety of Paris airports Stephane Daguin, the Military Attache of the French Embassy in Kuwait Colonel Francois Dickes and Kuwaiti Embassy staff.

  Kuwait Amir, French Pres. attend signing of strategic, cultural agreements

  In the presence of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and President of France Emmanuel Macron, a ceremony was held Monday afternoon at the Elysee Palace in Paris, for the signing of two declarations of intent between Kuwait and France.
  The first declaration of intent between the two governments is related to the Strategic Investment Partnership for 2025-2035.
  The second declaration of intent between the two governments is meant to strengthen cooperation in the cultural field and to commemorate, in 2026, the 65th anniversary of the Kuwaiti-French diplomatic relations.
  The two declarations were signed by Kuwaiti Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Al-Yahya and French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Noel Barrot.

  Kuwait Amir attends French Bastille Day celebrations

  His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and his accompanying delegation attended Monday's Bastille Day military parade in Paris, marking France's National Day and 80 years since World War II, in the presence of French President Emmanuel Macron.

  Kuwait Amir meets French foreign trade min., business leaders

  His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received, at his residence in Paris on Sunday afternoon, French Minister Delegate for Foreign Trade and French Nationals Abroad Laurent Saint-Martin and members of the French chamber of commerce.
  During the meeting, His Highness the Amir underscored the importance of seizing the ample investment opportunities in vital areas and strengthening strategic cooperation with major corporations in the French Republic.
  He urged greater efforts to transfer knowhow and attract more capital to support the national economy, develop the human resources, create more job opportunities for the youth, and enhance development in Kuwait.
